But how did people, especially the Gen Zs, use dating apps? Well, Tinder pieced together data taken from its users and painted us this year's trend in dating. In a nutshell, we have Gen Zs, who enjoyed both virtual meet-cutes and post-vax IRL dates. Gen Zs were also looking for travel buddies when Vaccinated Travel Lanes were first announced (overseas travel as a first date? Talk about shooting your shot).
What was also fascinating was that Gen Zs eschew first date drinks in favour of activities. Sporty activities like hiking, cycling and kayaking popped up in bios and the biggest turn-on?
