Are you done? Are you done crying and moping? No don't lie, because none of us are after Adele obliterated us with her latest song 'Easy On Me'. It all started as a harmless preview on Instagram Live, but the unexpected 20-second instrumental teaser was enough to make us want to find a life partner, get married, have a kid and then finalise a divorce to fully prepare us for the release of the single itself.
And now that it's here, we can't say anything has changed besides the increased volume of tears. The Grammy-winning singer's six-year long return is everything we want it to be. By this point, she's already let all fans know that the new release about her divorce, but in a thorough explanation to Vogue, Adele addressed that it was directed at her son.
“I just felt like I wanted to explain to [my son], through this record, when he’s in his twenties or thirties, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness. It made him really unhappy sometimes. And that’s a real wound for me that I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to heal.”
Cue the sobbing. Well, the only thing that will get us through now, are the memes. You're welcome.

Unfortunately, as Adele’s video was clearly filmed within the confines of Doncaster metropolitan borough, she will be issued with a fixed penalty notice for littering immediately.
