Disturbing Narratives is the third of a series of thematic art shows run by The Parkview Museum. Curated by Lorand Hegyi, the Art Director of the Parkview Museum, over 30 international artists from all visual languages were enlisted to explore the verisimilitude of uncertainty that challenges the perception of daily living. It is through these artworks that a disrupted status quo would yield something new from the imagination.
Artists involved in Disturbing Narratives include Gloria Friedmann with her installation, "Society of Enemies and Friends" (seen in opening image); Fabien Verschaere with his mural, "G-Live" and Urs Lüthi with his photo-realistic self-portrait, "Sculpture in 2 Pieces".
Disturbing Narratives is held at The Parkview Museum (Parkview Square, 600 North Bridge Road, Level 3) and will run until 8 February 2020. The exhibition is free to the public.
