High summer is here, and boy has Burberry got the thing for it. From 15 to 27 July, the British luxury brand is taking over Tanjong Beach Club, giving it a monogrammed makeover. From sun beds and seat cushions to parasols and cabanas, expect a gussied up version of the beach club for the month.

It's all part of a global immersion initiative that Burberry debuted last year, taking its summer capsule collection around the world to luxury holiday spots. Last year's edition featured takeovers in Bangkok, Dubai, Ibiza, Miami, Mykonos and Xiamen; while this year's include, in addition to Singapore's own TBC, Loulou Ramatuelle in Saint-Tropez, Ananti Cover Busan in South Korea, and an as yet unannounced final location in famed party central Ibiza.

The monogram – and collection – that's the key to it all is the TB Summer Monogram, a sunset-orange interpretation of the Thomas Burberry logo that creative director Riccardo Tisci introduced to the brand. The collection includes a range of casual ready-to-wear, swimwear and accessories designed for an uplifting vacation mood. Particularly compelling are summer-inspired accessories like bucket hats and baseball caps, linen sneakers, neoprene sandals, sunglasses and an aptly citrusy orange woven jacquard towel – all of which are available online, in selected Burberry boutiques, and if you find yourself in need of a beach day pick-me-up, at a pop-up store right inside Tanjong Beach Club.
