Like all things, even the very best must end. In an extended final phase of his residency at Mandala Club, the enfant terrible of the culinary world will sign off with a 'best-of' menu. At a fireside chat held at Mandala Club last Monday, Chef Gaggan Anand unveiled GAGGAN ANAND'S GREATEST HITS. Held from April until the end of June, the line-up includes gustatory highlights like “Eggplant Cookie”, "Tomato Matcha Tea" and our favourite, “LICK IT UP”… which requires you to lick the meal straight off the plate.
Dishes presented at GAGGAN ANAND'S GREATEST HITS, debut between 2010-2019—a period when Chef Gaggan gained international prominence. These milestone meals were important to Chef Gaggan's journey and will be served in this once-in-a-lifetime experience of his last leg with Mandala's Club.
And where will Chef Gaggan head to next? It's not writ in stone but there is speculation that he will endeavour into a more intimate setting like a chef's table. But whatever it is, it will be something that goes against your average Michelin fare and will befit the riotous nature that is Chef Gaggan Anand.
