For about a month, the wall next to a travelator at Botanic Gardens MRT station will be getting quite the street-luxe treatment. American brand Coach has gifted Singapore with some New York City street cred, thanks to a massive graffiti wall mural.
The graffiti wall mural spans 70 meters and features the iconic Coach Signature pattern. This juxtaposition between commercial luxury fashion and disruptive street art, is an extension of the brand's Coach Signature collection for spring/summer 2018. In it, creative director Stuart Vevers mashes the C-logo pattern with bold illustrations by renowned American artist Keith Haring, who's known for his pop-art influenced and graffiti-inspired art.

This art-meets-fashion campaign started off in New York City. Coach enlisted 13 New York-based graffiti artists to help reinterpret and reinvent the C-logo pattern. The striking murals are scattered throughout the five boroughs of the city, as an ode to the brand's origins. In Singapore, the printed mural is collaboratively designed by artists DAIN and SUCH, and will be available for public viewing from now till 17 May 2018.
The graffiti art attack won't stop just then. Coach will also be releasing a collection of wearable art pieces in July 2018. The graffiti-influenced capsule collection will feature artworks created by artists WHiSBE and Jason Naylor. Expect to see a range of ready-to-wear, tote bags and small leather goods—all laden with logos but breathed new life with colourful and edgy works of art.
The Coach Signature Graffiti Wall can be found at the Botanic Gardens MRT Station from now till 17 May 2018.
