Half a year ago, the Off-White x Chuck 70 collaboration was set to launch with Virgil Abloh's reworked Nike icons “The Ten”. Then it ghosted us all. This year, the now artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear is back to give high street snobs a run for their money. The pull tags and all other deliberate nuances are consistent, to say the least. Sadly, the limited edition collection was sold out the day it was made available locally, but hey, a true hypebeast is not deterred by unrealistic resell prices. Did you know ‘Vulcanized’ means rubber hardened by high temperature sulphur treatment? You just thought it was a really cool word Abloh invented, didn't you?
2. Irony
Nothing says irony like having 'LEFT' on the right shoe and 'RIGHT' on the left shoe and maybe we shouldn't even call them shoes.
3. Education, again
In case you, I don't know, forget what you use to secure the pair on your feet. Too bad it doesn't come complete with printed instructions on how to tie them.
4. ‘Double level flex’
