Metal band Black Sabbath has been a mainstay during my awkward teenhood. "War Pigs", "Crazy Train", "Iron Man", "Children of the Grave"… these were in heavy rotation when I had that discontinued first-gen Apple iPod (remember the clicky-clicky dial?).
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the band's third album release, Master of Reality, DC Shoes launches a capsule collection of skate shoes, apparel and more. Adopting the aesthetics of the album cover, you get black, grey, and purple hues mixed in with the band's iconography.
There's even a limited-edition tribute album that covers Master of Reality. Called Shadow of Reality, the lineup includes Harshmellow, The Spit and The Melvins to name a few. This tribute album isn't sold in record stores. With a pressing of 1,00o copies, Shadow of Reality is only used as a promotional tool but how does one get their grubby little mitts on it? Well, DC Shoes has kindly given us five copies of Shadow of Reality and all you have to do is answer the question below to qualify for the drawing.

Here's the question: some earlier German, US and Canadian pressings of Black Sabbath's third album had a typo on the album LP label; what was it?
Send your (probably Googled-) answers to [email protected]; be sure to include "DC Shoes x Black Sabbath Contest" in the subject header. Correct entries will be entered into a drawing and winners will be contacted via e-mail. Giveaway runs until the end of January 2022. Good luck.
But if you're unable to nab yourself the tribute LP, check out the DC Shoes x Black Sabbath collection, which is available for purchase.
