We talked about the benefits of standing desks but some of us would rather park our posteriors firmly into the cushion of a good seat. But with great comfort, comes great ergonomics (sorry Uncle Ben) and that's where ErgoTune's newest chair comes into play.
With an emphasis on catering to a wider demographic, even the extra petite or abundant in stature can fit in the ErgoTune Supreme V3. As the improved version of the… I guess, the V2. While it has the greatest hits of the last itineration—GyroBrace armrests (adjustable to support your arms), TrueTilt Recline (calibrates both recline angle and tension), DuraWeave (a breathable hybrid-mesh upholstery)—ErgoTune had an intensive R&D based on consumers' reviews and added three new features.
TriTune Enhanced
Like its predecessor, the Supreme V3 possessed an adjustable headrest height and angled tilt lock of up to 60°. But unlike its predecessor, the Supreme V3 now has a headrest with four axes of adjustments. With a better fit on the neck to support the upper spinal column, it prevents neck and upper body aches. For petite users. The headrest height range is also a lot wider to make it making it now suitable even for smaller users.
ATLAS (Auto-Tuning Lumbar Area Support) Enhanced
The last model had the lumbar support outfitted to the backrest. While it gives back support that auto-adjusts to your spinal curve, the tension level cannot be adjusted. For the Supreme V3, the lumbar support shifts according to your body's natural c-shaped spine and has three tension settings that can be operated via a knob. We were working on a story when we sat in this chair and I don't think our bodies felt the need to hunch over the keyboard. And that's also due to working in tandem with the final feature…
Gas Lift Enhanced
Remember when you first sat on an office chair and discovered the gas lift so you play 'private elevator' on your own, pretending that you're ascending before depressing a lever that causes you to sink? No? Just me? Okay, liars… whatever. There is a gas lift in the Supreme V3 that accommodates a greater height range (Petite: 140cm – 159cm; Standard: 160cm – 179cm – Tall: 180cm – 210cm.
We opted for fixing up the Supreme V3 and while it took a little elbow, it was easy to assemble. The chair comes in three colourways.: Aqua Blue, Coral Red, and Charcoal Black.
ErgoTune Supreme V3 retails for SGD850 but is now promotionally priced at SGD599. It is available here.
