Rosé wine is booming and this summer there are more celebrity offerings on the market than ever before. Celebrity beverages often to come with hefty price tags, and if that isn’t an issue for your wallet, by all means, treat yourself to the likes of Jay-Z’s SGD624 Armand De Brignac rosé. For mere mortals though, there’s good news. Several stars have bottles available for between SGD25 and SGD40.
Here are five pinks that you can enjoy under the sun without breaking the bank.
Maison No.9, Post Malone
The singer’s first venture into the alcohol business is French rosé, which he created himself alongside Global Brand Equities. Maison No. 9 is a soft, light ‘Provencal Pink’ with intense aromas of fresh ripe fruit and sweet French dessert. It goes down smoothly, with a dry, crisp, finish. The name was inspired by Post’s favourite tarot card, the Nine of Swords, and represents overcoming the daily challenges. Does this mean we deserve to treat ourselves after work every day?

LVE Côtes de Provence Rosé, John Legend
You can't go wrong with any of the Legend Vineyard Exclusives, including two rosés (a still and a sparkling edition) as the quality is exceptional. Grapes are selected from a blend of vineyards in well-known growing regions of France, like the Loire and Languedoc, to create its unique and fruity style. LVE Rosé is a beautiful, pale pink colour, with notes of peach blossom, berries and white nectarine and a long mineral finish.

Invivo X Rosé, Sarah Jessica Parker
Whether or not you are a fan of her films, there’s no denying SJP has exquisite personal taste. Her rosé comes hot on the heels of her Invivo X Sauvignon Blanc, which was one of 2019’s biggest sellers on the market. The rosé comes from the South of France, sits in your glass blush pink, and has an aroma profile of rose petals and summer berries. It is full-bodied with great complexity and elegance.

Three By Wade California Rosé, Dwayne Wade
NBA champion Dwayne Wade loves rosé so much that he’s on his third release. Three By Wade California Rosé is a delicious 2019 blend which is dry and full of verve. Red fruit dominates, and there is a wonderful acidity finish that evokes a bouncy freshness when paired with summer tapas such as melon and prosciutto.

Diving Into Hampton Water, Jon Bon Jovi
Jon Bon Jovi and his son developed a unique rosé during the time they spent in The Hamptons, uniting the region’s relaxed lifestyle with that of the South of France. Diving Into Hampton Water was the result; a blend of French Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre grapes. This fun and fruity pink uses grapes from low yielding vineyards to add complexity. Expect a nice long finish with distinctive minerality.
