Stay In The Pink
Oral hygiene is not always about teeth and gums. Besides brushing and flossing, take heed of the tongue as it is instrumental in having a keen sense of taste (and passionate snogging too). Spot a white coating? Fear not. You can easily prevent the build-up of bad breath-causing anaerobic bacteria with a tongue scraper.
Start with the back of your tongue’s surface and gently apply pressure to scrape outwards to the tip. Remember: always rinse the scraper after each motion to avoid re-depositing the gunk back onto your tongue.
Which landscape appeals to you: a wild, dense forest or a well-kept lawn? The former feels intimidating, doesn’t it? Compare this to the growing patch around your nether region and you’ll get the point. While usually only you get to see your bush in its entirety (unless a lucky individual is granted access too), neglecting tidiness and hygiene is not negotiable. Some choose to get a Boyzilian but we advise a trimmed manscape instead.
Don’t use the same tools that you shave your face with and get devices that specifically tackle that particular area.
Balm With Your Palm
Good job on slathering on shaving cream or oil before shearing your facial hair, although the aftershave is just as important as the primary step too. Soothe with some balm to heal the grazed chin but don’t settle for a random product. Like your face, the shaved area will only benefit from using a suitable balm for your skin type.
Pressed for time? Soak the razor in warm water. That’ll help your pores expand and allow facial hair to be nipped off with minimal redness and irritation.
My my, some bulging eye bags you’ve got there. That’s the by-product of working or partying till the wee hours and without ample rest. Having them ages you by a couple of years and even instils a dull and tired outlook. Nope, the generic facial cleanser won’t make a dent. Instead, reduce those dark circles and puffiness with cream or a roll-on dedicated to the eyes in your skincare routine to fix the bumpy problem.
Constantly hidden in fitting shoes when you’re out and about, your feet need a breather and some love to take you further in the future. Tend to them after a shower when the skin is at its softest and get rid of calluses by buffing your overworked feet. Nourish with moisturiser and slip on a pair of socks after applying to soften them.
Not adept in foot care? Pamper yourself and engage a pedicurist monthly to nurse your cracked feet from the rough abuse sustained from the commute. You’ll be surprised at the amount of dead skin cells that have built up.
