For the sixth time, the Singapore Art Book Fair (SGABF) returns this weekend for a showcase of the best in independent art books and zines. With 80 local and international exhibitors, the fair also has new additions to its line-up like a Photobook Open Call Showcase by THEBOOKSHOW and workshops conducted by the Facebook Analog Research Lab.
For Sunday, there will be programmes like a panel discussion with the Facebook Art Department. They will discuss putting together Open Form, a publication which celebrates the Facebook Artist in Residence (AIR) program’s recent five-year anniversary. And there's a panel about understanding the environment we live in, with a focus on "regional bottom-up city planning… tropical modernities and global architectural approaches".
The Singapore Art Book Fair is located at the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore, Block 43, Malan Road, Gillman Barracks. This event is free to the public. Today's the final day of the fair and it opens from noon to 8pm.
