In case you're not caught up, Queer Eye is the reality series on Netflix that you should be bingeing on. The series is a reboot of the original Queer Eye for the Straight Guy which ended its run in 2007. In essence, both the original and the reboot, revolve around five (fabulous) gay men making the lives of individuals better through upgrades in style, living conditions, culinary skills, grooming, and lifestyle in general. While every episode in the original featured straight men who needed the help, Queer Eye has cast a more diverse net, having featured a closeted gay man as well as a trans male in previous episodes.
Englishman Tan France may be the designated fashion expert at Queer Eye, but food and wine expert Antoni Porowski has no doubt become a favourite by both fans of the show and fashion brands. We're guessing it's probably because Porowski is by all accounts, a beautiful man. It borders on annoying, but life is unfair like that.
Porowski's sense of style has evolved since Queer Eye's debut in February 2018. The Canadian native was usually seen in a tee-and-bomber-jacket combination—a pretty common style go-to. But since then, he's been more adventurous, leaning into more contemporary fashion brands such as AMI and Sandro, and taking to red carpets in luxury fashion creations by Balmain (he's since gained a fan in creative director Olivier Rousteing) and Ermenegildo Zegna Couture. And not forgetting the couple of tie-waist Dzojchen suits he's been sporting too.
In honour of Queer Eye's third season that's available now on Netflix, we took a scroll through Porowski's Instagram feed and picked out the ten photos that prove he's the series' style standout.
