Nothing quite beats the languid charm, yet chic sophistication, of an Italian summer. It may already be September, but the cobbled streets of Milano are still radiating a comforting warmth underfoot as show attendees made their way to Tod's first ever combined runway show—that's right, the Italian luxury powerhouse known for crafting comfortable and covetable footwear, is officially presenting menswear on the catwalk as part of its women's wear collection. With a colour palette oscillating between tan, sand and dreamy ocean blue, it was a tight edit of 11 menswear looks that captured the spirit of la dolce vita. Gents, if you're looking for stylish companions for your long summer days and listless nights by the Mediterranean, Tod's can now clothe you from head-to-Gommino.

Designer: Andrea Incontri
10-word synopsis: Effortless Italian menswear with leather blazers, striped totes and Gomminos.
Favourite look: As a master leather craft house, Tod's has been pushing the boundaries when it comes to creating outerwear in supple leather—and often, from a distance, doesn't appear to be leather at all—for a few seasons now. Which is why we loved the trucker jackets in rich chocolate suede and faux-denim (it looks like denim but it’s actually calfskin) that were both finished with contrast top-stitching. It's urban yet chic. Elevated streetwear for the discerning. But in terms of a full ensemble, we gravitated towards the off-the-clock elegance of that tan suede leather biker worn simply over a white crew neck tee, paired with sand-coloured trousers, and anchored with matching Gomminos. Why, of course.
Favourite accessory: Those striped canvas tote bags—be it in deep water blue or pomegranate red—trimmed in leather and adorned with multiple functional pockets. Reminds us of resort beach chairs along the Mediterranean coast, which is definitely a good thing. Employ it for your daily commute to add a touch of summer dreaming to your city life or, indeed, use it as a beach bag for your summer getaway. #Want
