Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards' in-person ceremony was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. In the midst of the pandemic, enhanced safety restrictions were put in place, the attendees found themselves showing off their best looks while observing social-distancing measures.
Overall, the night was one of celebration and joy. From BTS's debut performance (live from South Korea) of their latest single 'Butter' to Drake receiving Billboard's 'Top Artist of 2010s' and the 'Artist of the Decade' awards—previous recipients were Eminem in 2000s and singer-songwriter Mariah Carey in 1990s respectively—there were a lot of momentous highs.
That could also be said about some of the fashion looks that graced the red carpet on the menswear front. Host Nick Jonas opted for a tone-on-tone emerald green Fendi look, while presenter Henry Golding went for a sleek and classic grey suit by Dior Men. New faces such as Michael Ian Olmo—professionally known as Iann Dior—turned up in style as well. The 22-year-old singer walked the red carpet in a tasteful white Tom Ford suit and paired it with a grey Maison Margiela coat as well as matching accessories. Other notable mentions include The Weeknd in a full Bottega Veneta ensemble, and Leslie Odom Jr. who showed up in a striking yellow coat paired with a contrasting powder-blue turtleneck underneath.
