BOSS x Russell Athletic is a study of opposites. At the very core, BOSS and Russell Athletic are very different. The former deals with tailoring and a more formal aesthetic, while the latter is one of America's iconic sportswear brands out there. Then there's also the fact that BOSS has never done a fashion collaboration before—this marks its first ever collaboration of such nature. Russell Athletic is no stranger to the format, having teamed up with KITH and most recently, designer Dao-Yi Chow.
Yet, the two brands have decided to come together. And we daresay that the results are quite brilliant.
There's a sense of nostalgia with BOSS x Russell Athletic. It's underscored by the colour palette chosen for the collection—a combination of muted pastels with punchy additions of navy and red. They're the kind of colours one could immediately link to collegiate sports. And just like typical college team jerseys, the branding has been interpreted through that lens.

What's particularly special about the collaboration is that several of the pieces have been designed to be unisex. From the reworked BOSS suiting that are now sportier than ever, to relaxed-fit hoodies and mock-neck T-shirts, BOSS x Russell Athletic is taking a more inclusive approach to style—relaxed refinement for a new generation.
The BOSS x Russell Athletic collection is available at selected BOSS stores islandwide from 22 April and online now. Scroll through the gallery above for a look at the collection.
