"How is your day?" is a typical conversation starter that's often replied with 'good' or 'great'. But life shouldn't be summed up by those answers. Instead, document your day with photographs to reenact your adventures. It's easy to just snap-and-go but summarizing your daily encounters through images? You've got to be nimble to seize that desired moment.
Leica Akademie Singapore recently teamed up with cult street photographer Jesse Marlow for a private one-day workshop—showcasing his award-winning works and shares his approach to street photography before leading participants out to comb and film quirky bits happening on the Singapore streets.
The winner of the International Street Photography Prize coached us his favourite photography techniques using the reliable Leica Q-P to striking results. Scroll the gallery above to pore over the activity stills from our session with Marlow.
This workshop was part of the Leica Foto Festival Singapore 2018 which consists of a series of programmes—presenting photo-art in the form of exhibitions, talks and workshops in celebration of photography.
