We're not even into the last month of the year yet, but CELINE HOMME is already dropping its spring/summer 2021 collection. You may recall the fashion runway video that revealed the collection back in July—set against the vast expanse of an empty racetrack near Marseille, France and to the soundtrack of TikTok star Tiagz.
Yes, it was all about the TikTok generation and the kind of style that the social media platform has adopted. But of course, done in typical Hedi Slimane fashion with youthful irreverence, luxurious materials and incredibly chic cuts.
CELINE HOMME is making the spring/summer 2021 collection—dubbed 'The Dancing Kid'— available for a much earlier release than usual. Partnering up with Mr Porter for a one season pop-up, the men's style platform is debuting 48 pieces from the collection. 30 pieces from the drop are exclusive only to Mr Porter (basically, you won't be able to find them anywhere else), while five of them are exclusive only until the end of the year.
Slimane might be notorious for his incredibly skinny cuts, but he seems to have somewhat abandoned that aesthetic—at least for the most part—in 'The Dancing Kid'. The Mr Porter release especially, consists of a mix of contemporary tailoring with comfortable, casual separates. CELINE-branded tees and hoodies come in a sketch-like print, denim pieces are done in acid-wash, and multiple iterations of sweats that are perfect for lounging around at home over the holidays.
