From Kingslayer Jamie Lannister / our April cover star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau to Khal Drogo / Jason Momoa, EVERYONE was at the New York premiere. Everyone. Calling it a star-studded affair is a gross understatement. All characters since the very first season graced the event at Radio City Music Hall, and the reunions were nothing short of epic.
C'mon, Sean Bean and Mark Addy? Nothing beats taking us back to when Ned Stark and Robert Baratheon who first introduced us to King's Landing to remind us that the series is almost a decade old, and inevitably reaching an end (what will we do with our lives?).
The only one missing is reigning queen Cersei, or Lena Headey for those who live in reality, who was ill and unfit to travel.
Some of the attending cast have posted to their respective accounts to express excitement for the season finale, which only heightens the anticipation. Unfortunately, while they're busy gushing on about how good it is, the rest of us plebeians will have to wait.
The eighth and final season of GAME OF THRONES will debut in Asia same time as the U.S. on Monday, 15 April at 9am, with a same day encore at 10pm, exclusively on HBO GO and HBO. The series will also be available on HBO On Demand. New episodes will premiere every Monday at the same time.
