It has only been slightly over a year since local brand See You At One made its debut. Kicking things off with a triptych of trousers the brand calls 'loop pants'—designed in a trio of fabrications and prints with a focus on functionality and ease of movement—See You At One adopted a product-driven approach when it came to releasing new pieces.
Its previous releases focused solely on offering garments that were thoughtfully made, but this time around, there's a collective intent: usefulness.

In its official press statement, See You At One revealed that the concept of the capsule collection began by asking, 'What is useful?' It's a seemingly simple question but at the same time, holds a rather personal quality. For the brand, it means a renewed focus on construction and functionality, while still retaining a clean aesthetic that it has championed from the start. After all, there is little need for unnecessary fluff that serves no actual purpose.
The capsule collection explores this overarching concept of 'usefulness' by reexamining the inner workings of a garment, instead of working on what others would typically see right off the bat. While the exterior of a deceptively simple jacket is streamlined with sleek details, its interior is trimmed with contrast piping and cleverly constructed with hidden compartments and nifty design elements. And if you're not one for colourful jolts of surprises on the inside, See You At One has a couple of monochromatic variations too.

It's not just in the way the clothes are designed too that has shifted because of that aforementioned question. See You At One is committed to ensuring that every facet of its branding (as much as possible) is useful. The brand has replaced its care labels with custom Tyvek ones (a fully recyclable synthetic material), is committed to using reusable packaging for all of its products, as well as reducing the use of plastics during production.
What's remained the same though, is in the way that See You At One will be releasing products from the capsule collection. The capsule collection is set to be officially launched on 18 November 2020, but with limited drops happening throughout the month until the end of 2020. And all one needs to do to stay informed is by following the brand's Instagram account where the drop dates will be revealed.
