Since Tiffany & Co launched its men's collection in October, the luxury maison has not rested on its laurels. Tiffany & Co will be partnering with Dover Street Market for a second time since 2015, dropping exclusive pieces from its men's jewellery line—the Tiffany 1837TM Makers Heritage Edition collection. The special edition line features eight different pieces—includes cuffs, bracelets, cuff links and necklaces—made in sterling silver.
“Dover Street Market’s curated style edit and the iconic collaborations it is known for makes it the ideal space to debut these limited-release Tiffany Men’s designs,” said Reed Krakoff, chief artistic officer of Tiffany & Co. These exclusive pieces take the ethos of the Tiffany 1837TM Makers Heritage range—which keeps utilitarian hardware in mind while paying homage to Tiffany’s silversmithing legacy—and pushes it to its logical conclusion.
The pieces feature a unique finish to the pieces, giving them a rustic, vintage appearance with subtle nuances that mimic the mellow tone of silver after it’s been worn for years. In the style of pieces from the Tiffany 1837TM Makers Heritage series, they are stamped with ‘T & CO MAKERS’, ‘NY’, a planishing hammer symbol, and ‘925’.
To commemorate the launch of the collection, there will be an installation at Dover Street Market Singapore that is inspired by Tiffany's famed hollowware workshop in Rhode Island, where the world’s most coveted sports trophies are handcrafted. Designed to mimic a craftsman’s workspace, the installation features utilitarian tools, concrete and pops of Tiffany Blue.
The collection launches at Dover Street Market Singapore on the 29 November 2019.
