Mental health shouldn't just be a hot topic when the occasion calls for it. It's an ongoing issue that should always be checked on and not taken lightly. As the saying goes: 'a sound mind is in a sound body'; it's vital to take care of one's mental health as much as the physical.
With physical, human contact a big part of most of our daily lives, it can get rather draining both emotionally and mentally. Taking a step back and spending some time alone to recharge social batteries and re-centre yourself, is one way of finding some peace and quiet amongst the din. Being alone can be quite therapeutic.
We've come up with a few things you can set aside some time to do by yourself. From the mundane to the more adventurous, there's hardly a limit to what you can do to spend some quality alone time. But of course, with a dependable timepiece as your only companion to keep tabs on time; one shouldn't be a recluse too.
