It'll be awhile before we're able to congregate but for now we'll settle for the virtual option.
Evoking Zouk's philosophy—"One world. One music. One tribe. One dance."—the award-winning nightclub teams with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to produce Phuturescapes. Occurring over this weekend, Phuturescapes is a series of virtual parties fronted by a bevy of local and international DJs and musicians.
With the resources of the STB, Phuturescapes promise an elevated look into Singapore's nightlife scene to a global audience. Held on Zoom, along with an augmented reality filters and 3D virtual backgrounds, disco babies can also expect to see Zouk's resident DJs, LeNERD and Che'Molly hold court on the dance floor. Other local acts like DJ KoFlow, rapper Yung Raja and singer-songwriter Jasmine Sokko will also take the stage. On the international front, we have Diplo and DJ Christina Novelli.
Taking place across three timezones, discoheads might wanna take note of the timings for Phuturescapes. It kicks off in the United States on 29th May, 11pm EST (for Singaporeans, it's on 30th May, 11am); followed by Asia and Australia on 30th May, at 8pm GMT+8 and finally in the UK on the 31st May, 5pm GMT+1 (for Singaporeans, its on the 1 June at 12am).
This is the only time where you won't be carded so to get in on the action at Phuturescapes, sign up for the Zoom party (up to 1,000 guests can sign up for it) or watch the lifestream on Facebook or YouTube.
