Avengers–comparable collaborations do happen in real life. Specifically in music. For example, there's Silk Sonic (Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars) and Silk City (Diplo and Mark Ronson); both unrelated. Now, there's PANTHEPACK. The hip-hop supergroup quartet is a team-up of some of the best contemporary Chinese musicians—Jackson Wang, Karencici, J.Sheon, and ICE.
The PANTHEPACK's members teamed up on this special project and combined their strengths to showcase a cutting-edge, Chinese-influenced sound to the international music scene.
Fueled by ambition, they look beyond music traditions and boundaries via high-quality artistry. PANTHEPACK also aims to imbue their music with a youthful and chill attitude while highlighting China’s modern music culture too.
Before this reveal, PANTHEPACK has quietly made their presence known with just their music alone and through solo performances. Debut single 'DNA' was released without much details on who they are or what they're about. Part of this rollout included Wang doing a live performance of 'DNA' in the Season 2 finale of Sisters Who Make Waves variety TV show. In addition, Wang and ICE also performed PANTHEPACK's second single, 'Transmit', at the 2021 Baidu Gala.
Besides officially revealing each member's identity, this announcement also saw the release of their newest single 'BUZZ'. Look forward to more distinctive tunes by PANTHEPACK in the coming months.
Below's a brief profile of each PANTHEPACK member.

Jackson Wang
Notable accolades: Wang's truly gone global after ending his contract with JYP entertainment, fronting major campaigns for Cartier and FENDI. No fret, he's still with GOT7. Since releasing a successful string of singles (such as 'Drive You Home', 'M.I.A, and 'Alone') earlier this year, Wang and his crew TEAM WANG shift attention to PANTHEPACK as the rapper-producer's next music endeavour.

Karencici
Notable accolades: Besides being a singer-songwriter, American-born Karencici has penned songs for the likes of Jolin Tsai, Rainie Yang, Yoga Lin and Hebe Tien. She also received a nomination for the 30th Golden Melody Awards in the 'Best New Artist' category.

J.Sheon
Notable accolades: Rapper-producer J.Sheon spent eight years in New York since he was 19. Hence, there are western sensibilities and unique genre-bending techniques that make his productions a standout. He scored a nomination for 'Best Male Mandarin Singer' at the 31st Golden Melody Awards in 2020.

ICE
Notable accolades: A Chengdu native, ICE aka Changqing Yang finished third place in The Rap of China Season 2, a Chinese rap competition show. He also bagged the Asian Music Festival Annual Popularity Rapper Award in 2018 and previously worked with Wang on a collaboration single 'Red'.
