An elegant new respite for the cognac connoisseur—Louis XIII now has a permanent shop-in-shop at The Whisky Distillery's flagship store. The store hosts the widest collection of Louis XIII products available in Southeast Asia, including rare bottles such as La Mathusalem—an exquisite six-litre decanter, of which only fifty pieces are produced each year. "In recent years, the appeal and demand for premium spirits consumption in Singapore has driven the search for authentic and highly coveted fine spirits," says The Whisky Distillery's managing director Manjit Gill.
Louis XIII has been a long sought-after cognac in Singapore, with records indicating that bottles have been shipped to the island since as far back as 1881. The brand embodies the French art of living, masterfully playing with conventions while uniting sophistication and spontaneity.
To celebrate the inauguration of the shop-in-shop, those who purchase a bottle of The Magnum in the month of May will enjoy an exclusive complimentary pairing experience at Tippling Club for two guests. Of course, this is subject to limited availability. Guests will be taken through the intimate tasting Louis XIII cognac tasting ritual and treated to a decadent pairing menu, prepared with the finest ingredients, from caviar to lobster.
The shop-in-shop is now open at The Whisky Distillery at Raffles Place. Louis XIII cognac is also available for purchase at other The Whisky Distillery outlets across Singapore.
