This week for our 'Dawn to Dusk' music playlist, we caught up with EDM music producer MYRNE, aka Manfred Lim. At the tender age of 20, the self-taught indie-electronic composer was picked up and signed to famed DJ-producer Diplo's record label, Mad Decent. Classically trained on the piano, MYRNE followed his instincts to create the ideal cords that brought him to where he stands now. So it's no surprise that his recommended music playlist emphasized on beat-heavy tunes.
MYRNE recently dropped a joint studio album, B4NGER PROJECT, with his buddy, Gentle Bones (Joel Tan). A music lover since young, MYRNE taught himself to forge electronic beats on a laptop in his bedroom. The Internet was his mentor, and the rest is up to his ingenuity. After a successful EP release (Softsins) and a string of well-received singles, MYRNE finally drops a full-length album with Gentle Bones on board. For more nuggets on how the B4NGER PROJECT started, read our interview with Gentle Bones and MYRNE.
