The latest spring/summer 2018 drop for Supreme went on last Thursday on 24 May 2018. And with that, came the release of a Supreme pinball machine in collaboration with Stern, the founding father of modern pinball machines and arcade games. The super exclusive (and super expensive) collaboration has been teased for months before the drop and only 200 machines were produced.
One would think that being priced at SGD14,800 (an approximate from USD10,998), it would've been an insane amount to spend on a game that's completely immobile. But this is Supreme after all, which means that the online-exclusive Stern x Supreme pinball machine is now completely sold out. Surprise, surprise.
You can start trawling online resale sites to check out the (obviously) highly covetable pinball machine. But of course, be prepared to spend a hefty price on that. We must say that the design is sleek and ultra clean, and would no doubt be an impressive addition to a gaming den.
Need something else to distract your pain and sorrow? We came up with five other items you might want to spend SGD14,800 on.
One Limited Edition Guardians of the Galaxy pinball machine by Stern (approximately SGD12,100)
Sure it looks cartoony against the industrial concrete walls of your man cave but you get to be a member of one of the coolest superhero teams in Marvel. We're not sure what the Stern x Supreme pinball machine has but we're quite sure it doesn't feature an Infinity Stone.
Eight Disney x Coach Spooky Eyes racer jackets by Coach (SGD1,850 each)
A leather jacket with spooky eyes that you can't clearly see because of the all-black design is disturbing. Who are they looking at? Who do they belong to? Is this real life? Or is this a fantasy?
18 cotton jersey T-shirts by Gucci (approximately SGD805 each via MATCHESFASHION.COM)
No, we're not suggesting you spend SGD805 on bootleg Gucci. The misspelling is done on purpose as a riff on knockoffs. If the font seems familiar to you, it's because a SEGA-style font is used. You know, that gaming console kids in the '90s played Sonic and Mortal Kombat on. Ah, memories.
58 wooden beach bat and ball sets by Frescobal Carioca (approximately SGD255 each via Mr Porter)
Truth be told, we've never played a game of beach bat and ball. But there's no better time than now to start learning how to and get a tan at the same time.
75 pairs of PUMA x SEGA RS-0 sneakers by Puma (SGD195 each)
It seems that SEGA is making a fashionable comeback. The collaboration with Puma plays on the colours of two characters from the platform's iconic Sonic the Hedgehog franchise—Sonic and his nemesis, Dr. Eggman. Available from 5 June 2018 at the Puma Select MBS store, Limited Edt and LeftFoot.
