If you're still feeling the aftershocks of Phoebe Bridgers' seethingly fantastic 2020 album Punisher, you can now witness the songs live from the source herself. Next year, on the day after Valentine's Day, Ms. Bridgers will play her first ever show in Singapore at the Esplanade Theatre, via promoter AEG Presents Asia.
Bridgers' arrival in Asia is further confirmation of her ascension from indie rock's best kept secret to world-destined story-teller. Primal, powerful and gracefully splitting the difference between ethereality and earthiness, her music is an indie-born antidote to the synthetic suppressions that barrage the senses and distract the heart and mind.
