It's actually happening. The President of the United States (POTUS) Donald Trump—more commonly known as 'the Trump', 'the Donald' or the many other names he's referred to—is here in Singapore. Trump is staying at the Shangri-La but like the true rich businessman that he was, he's isolating himself and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Sentosa for the Trump-Kim summit on 12 June 2018.
If the countless reports by the US media of him hold any semblance of truth, we're expecting him to make the most of his trip to Sentosa by taking part in the many activities that the island has to offer. The Trump-Kim summit and the heavy discussions it entails should really be his main agenda but a round (or two) of golf wouldn't hurt, right? There's no telling how long the talks will take. For all we know, he might just check into Capella Singapore and spend a few more days talking (and playing golf).
We've all seen his characteristically ill-fitted looks. The incredibly long and wide ties that shouldn't reach below the belt but do, will definitely make their appearances. In the spirit of hope and change (for the better), we're putting him in five looks straight from high fashion lookbooks and runways to turn his signature orange skin tone and combover into less of a statement.
For exploring Sentosa and it's many outdoor activities

It's casual but still dressy enough so he wouldn't look frumpy—he's the president after all. A leather jacket to keep him warm and comfortable while he navigates the many air-conditioned attractions around the island and sturdy denim jeans for when he wants to take the Luge for a spin.
For golf

This printed shirt from Gucci is a departure from the striped polo shirts that he sports for the game but we feel it's a much-needed upgrade. Sure, he'd most probably trade in that headgear for a standard red 'Make America Great Again' cap, but that'll work too.
For taking on the rides at Universal Studios Singapore

One can't be running around Universal Studios Singapore in anything other than a pair of shorts, especially in this heat. The layers are for when he decides to be adventurous and sit front row at the Waterworld show. Or getting on the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure ride where he'll definitely get wet after. It's always good to be well-prepared, POTUS.
For the beach or poolside

Let's just say that the POTUS is probably not the first person we're eager to see in his swimwear relaxing by any body of water. He'll be protected too so there won't be any(more) unnecessary tanning. And if he gets an urgent call or impromptu meeting to attend to, he'll at least be decent.
For the casino

He needs to let go of his current stock of suits and go for something more modern and well-fitted. There's no better time to do that than at the tables in the Resorts World Sentosa casino. We're opting for Ermenegildo Zegna Couture's double knotted tie for him. It's a risky style move for the POTUS but more fashion-forward than his existing ties. He seems to be able to get away with a lot of things, so this will be an easy pass.
