Martell's signature cognac is piquant enough to down as it is and on the rocks anytime, anywhere. So what happens when you have it over conversations? Maison Martell, the oldest of many great Cognac Houses, has created a new digital talk show for creatives and innovators to share their stories. And episode 2 is hosted by renowned American chef Judy Joo and will be live-streamed in Singapore!
What is Martell HOME Live?
Here's a quick lowdown on Martell HOME Live. Presented live on Maison Martell’s YouTube page, each episode highlights visionaries to exchange personal gastronomy and travel stories. Also, the show's birth celebrates creative visionaries and those who aim to leave a lasting legacy.
Rotating Guests
While the American rapper Killer Mike-hosted first episode kicked off in New York City at the historic Greystone Court and features special music performances by Charli XCX and Princess Nokia, this follow-up gathers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon of Opening Ceremony, music luminary Arthur Bray, and Speed Racer Claire Jedrek to shape a Bao (the iconic Chinese dumpling), encapsulating their uncommon stories.
However, they are not achieving that without help. Culinary experts Esu Lee, Ghetto Gastro and May Chow will aid them to conceive the Chinese staple.
Besides the culinary showcase, host of the night, chef and TV personality Judy Joo, will engage each guest too. Expect unique narratives and beliefs on staying true while aiming to leave a lasting legacy. And of course, the incomparable Martell Cognac makes an appearance too. The aforementioned Baos will be paired with new Martell concoctions created by Mel John Chavez from the award-winning Tippling Club. For music, slick Thai rapper Daboyway will deliver an electrifying performance.
#Martell HOME Live: A Taste of Home was live-streamed from CulinaryOn at One Raffles Place at 9pm on 4 Dec via Maison Martell’s YouTube page.
