Like a spinning LP, everything comes full circle. Panasonic's audio arm, Technics put together a supergroup of DJs—Disco Mix Club World DJ Champions, veterans, industry's favourites—you'll see the hirsute Swamp, Qbert, the ever blonde Sarasa among the ensemble. We suspect that the lineup might change but we'll never know. For their first performance, the Philharmonic Turntable Orchestra remixes Felix Mendelssohn's Concerto in E Minor, which was the world's first recorded LP in 1984.
While the video editing added that pop to the visuals, we give props to the turntablism skills and music arrangement. And if you're not familiar with Mendelssohn's Concerto in E Minor, have a listen and see how it compares with the remix.
