Here's something that's just in time for the festive holidays. Local chocolatiers, The Dark Gallery, introduces a gifting selection that will showcase their dark chocolate. Whether you're a basic chocolate-lover or the atas chocolate diner, you can find something from the Gift Cubes line. Boasting a plethora of intensities and origins, the Gift Cubes comes in three tiers: Signature, Special, or the Grand Cru.
The Offering
The Signature has artisanal sablés in dark chocolate, parmesan, matcha and baked nuts with caramelised almonds and maple walnuts. The Special is a limited edition festive brittles, sablés and wafers in spirited flavours—local favourite, salted egg yolk and the seasonal candied gingerbread. Lastly, the Grand Cru that is a mix of truffles and chocolate slabs, made from single origin chocolates that are sourced from Venezuela, the Dominican Republic and Tanzania.

If you're looking for a more curated version, there are hampers like the Chocochromatic Hamper: a Grand Cru Collection Gift Cube, a Special Collection Gift Cube, and a Specialty Chocolate Bar; the Heritage Hamper: Gula Melaka Coconut Almond Brittles; Salted Egg Yolk Sablés and 68% Bali and 72% Davao Single Origin Chocolate Tablets.
But hark, there are more!
Rounding up the Yuletide season are log cakes. Ice-cream log cakes. Choose between (hell, get both of) the Venezuela 72% Dark Chocolate Ice Cream and Dark Chocolate Mousse with Dark Chocolate Sponge, or (and) the Signature 38% Milk Chocolate Ice Cream and Hazelnut Mousse Dark Chocolate Sponge.
If log cakes aren't your thing (why?) there are the seasonal Fruit Pound Cakes and Dark Chocolate Mousse Cakes. Forget the milk and cookies for Santa (spoiler alert: it's your dad in the costume. Also, aren't you old to be believing in Santa?), get something more palatable and edgy like dark chocolate.
The Dark Gallery's Gift Cubes and other Christmas treats are available at Millenia Walk, #01-K5, 9 Raffles Boulevard; Takashimaya Shopping Centre, #B2-29, Ngee Ann City, 391 Orchard Road or online.
