The Witcher series remains one of the more endearing video games ever to be played. And despite the foofaraw with Andrzej Sapkowski, the author of the books the games are adapted off, developer CD Projekt Red is waist-deep into their next open-world RPG game: Cyberpunk 2077. The official trailer was dropped at this year's E3 event and not only do we get a release date of 16 April 2020 but we also get a glimpse of Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand, one of the many denizens of this futuristic world.
Keanu Reeves is having a moment now. With his John Wick series, the next excellent Bill & Ted instalment due next year, voguing for Saint Laurent, his appearance in Always Be My Maybe and generally being a good guy, its sorta fitting that Reeves would return to his cyberpunk roots (remember Johnny Mnemonic? Remember The Matrix?) with… well, Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released 16 April 2020 and is available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
