As though not content with dropping his collab with Kendrick Lamar or his collab with Nike last weekend, Jun Takahashi, founder of Undercover, will release another footwear collection with Converse. As an extension of his AW18 collection, Order/Disorder, Takahashi is using the Converse Chuck 70 as his canvas in a continued exploration about the "dichotomy that exists between Takahashi’s designs while harnessing the versatility of the iconic Converse silhouette". You can readily see the contradictory nature in the application of materials and colours, as well as, the words, "ORDER" and "DISORDER" printed on the shoes' high-gloss toe box, with matching colours on the contrasting toe bumpers. Each pair also features silver hardware, co-branded sock liners and tonal laces.
If Takahashi's theme of Order/Disorder didn't clinch it for you, then maybe getting two pairs of the red/white shoes might be fashionable-enough for next year's National Day. Maybe.
