In the second iteration of Milan Fashion Week during COVID-19, it's a combination of both physical and digital presentations and shows. Versace is set to unveil its spring/summer 2021 collection on day three with a digital runway show, after premiering a resort 2021 collection digitally during the menswear schedule back in July.
Little is known about the upcoming spectacular (what is Versace without a bit of glitz, glamour and brazen pops of colours and prints), we do have hints of what it could be. Based on the teaser image above, as well as the e-invite that was send through, we're speculating that the spring/summer 2021 collection could be themed around marine life or perhaps the beach. 'Versacepolis' is probably the name of the collection (or an overarching theme) and that conjures up images of a lost underwater city à la Atlantis.
We're all in for printed boxy-cut shirts with Versace-fied oceanic prints. Alas, we can only be sure once the show begins proper. But what's for certain is that it'll be a show, in real life or not.
