If you've got a keen eye for fashion, design or anything else that's considered creative work (also known as 'non-essential' pursuits; we kid), the Vogue Singapore Talent Prize 2021 may just be the very thing you could benefit from. The Singapore edition of the fashion title has partnered up with Charles & Keith on the initiative that's aimed at discovering a new generation of Singapore-based creative storytellers.
The first step to being part of Vogue Singapore Talent Prize 2021 is simple enough. Interested applicants need only to provide a visual response to the following statement: How do you effectively communicate the desirability of Singaporean brands in a noisy global market? This is to be followed by a 100-word description of said work, and other essential information required.
A panel of six judges comprising members of both the Vogue Singapore and Charles & Keith teams will be the ones scrutinising the creative outputs put forth by applicants. From the entries received, only a final list of five will make the cut, before the eventual winner takes top honours.
But what's awaiting the winner, you ask?
Because both entities are essentially two of the biggest in Singapore's fashion scene, there's much to covet for winning the competition. The winner will be awarded the opportunity to work on a campaign for Charles & Keith, vouchers by the brand worth SGD2,000, gain invaluable mentorship from leaders in the local industry, as well as a feature in the March issue of Vogue Singapore—pretty much a sweet deal for any young creative.
And we do mean any young creative. Vogue Singapore Talent Prize 2021 is open to any creative of 18 to 30 years of age who's based in Singapore. Applications are open now until 20 August 2021.
