Yesterday was a big win for the black community when Samuel L Jackson and Will Smith, both long time icons of the silver screen, bagged their firsts from the 94th Academy awards yesterday. But what was an arguably bigger spectacle was when Will Smith walked up to Chris Rock mid-speech and smacked him after the comedian made a joke in bad taste about Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
The internet and Twittersphere has since been aflame with conflicting opinions as to which is in the wrong, or if both were.
